Persbericht: Ubisoft brengt Ninja Gaiden DS uit

Ninja Gaiden voor de DS wordt uitgegeven door Ubisoft.

Ninja Gaiden bestaat al erg lang en is een tijdje geleden weer populair geworden door een nieuwe deel, welk de game voor het eerst in 3D bracht. Het tweede deel van de 3D-reeks komt er alweer bijna aan, maar daarnaast mogen we ook een DS-deel verwachten. Tot vandaag wisten we niet wie deze game zou gaan uitbrengen in Europa, maar door onderstaande persbericht weten we het nu wel:

NINJA GAIDEN Dragon Sword brings the authentic Ninja experience to Nintendo DS™ for the first time.

De Meern, The Netherlands - April 3, 2008 - Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announced a distribution agreement to release Tecmo's NINJA GAIDEN Dragon Sword to all EMEA territories. Already a critically acclaimed game in the US and Japan, NINJA GAIDEN Dragon Sword will hit European shelves in June 2008.

NINJA GAIDEN: Dragon Sword is the latest iteration in the series and the first to be made for Nintendo DS™ handheld system, featuring gorgeous rendered backgrounds, a new exciting story and the traditional fast-paced action that the franchise is known for. Taking perfect advantage of the Nintendo DS with intuitive stylus gameplay, Ryu Hayabusa's combat moves are mapped onto the DS touchscreen and directional buttons which allows him to run, jump, attack and cast Ninpo. Certain move combinations will enable Ryu to perform fatal special attacks such as the Izuna Drop and Cicada Slash which are some of Ryu's signature moves.

NINJA GAIDEN: Dragon Sword is developed by Executive Producer Tomonobu Itagaki and the Team NINJA development studio.

Yay, dan kunnen ze voor de verandering ook eens een goede game uitbrengen voor de NDS.

Ubisoft brengt ook goede titels uit hoor :O
Maar ja, dat komt omdat ze een deal hebben met Square-Enix...
