Zojuist is bekend geworden dat Halo: The Master Chief Collection toch op 11 november gaat verschijnen in Nederland en dat de game helemaal klaar is. Nu laat ontwikkelaar 343 Industries weten dat er een day one patch te downloaden zal gaan zijn van twintig gigabyte groot.
You’ll be able to start playing Campaign and more as the content is installing, with some features and multiplayer content being added via the update. Yes, the update is large, but we weren’t about to cut corners to save disc space.
343 Industries heeft gekozen voor een grote update zodat nergens de content moest wijken door de grote van de disc waar de game daadwerkelijk op staat.
This ensures that you are getting every bit of Halo goodness we can fit in. Our work is not done, however, as we continue to tune, tweak and optimize the online experience to ensure a smooth multiplayer launch. This will continue right up until launch day.
Halo 4: Spartan Ops, de vijftig episodische missies die wekelijks verschenen in het spel, zullen niet meteen speelbaar zijn. Deze missie worden middels een update in december aan de game toegevoegd.
